At Custom Shades, we take pride in our craftsmanship and attention to detail. We want you and your clients to be satisfied with our product. Your shades are hand-crafted on our premises from the initial frame construction to finishing touches. We carefully check each order against strict quality guidelines before it is shipped to you. In order to maintain our reputation for quality and service we appreciate knowing about any problems that arise and we welcome your comments and suggestions.

We Can Accommodate your Custom Order

         We have many more patterns available, beyond the scope of this catalog, so please consult us. We will also create a new pattern to meet your exact specifications. There is a one-time New Pattern Charge of $15.00 for new sizes of round shades; $20.00 for other shapes.

         Since we are a custom shop we have no minimum order size, but a service charge of $3.00 will be added for Single Shades. We will also work with material provided by your customers and can recover existing, one-of-a-kind frames. For Laminations with Customer's Own Material there is a charge of $2.90 per inch. Recovers carry a $8.00 surcharge.

         Frames and standard Washer Fitter are galvanized wire, dipped to prevent rust. Clips and UNO fitters are lacquered brass. Washers conform to the industry standard. You may request custom recesses to suit your design. Other fitters also available:

Finishes and Custom Details
         Shades are self-trimmed, unless otherwise requested by customer. Custom Shades offers a wide variety of braids, soutaches and fringes. Some special details require added handwork and are priced per shade as follows:
